Harsh Badera
Chief Executive Officer & Co-FounderHarsh leads MatBook's vision and strategy. He holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering and previously led a computational materials research group, where he experienced firsthand the data management challenges that inspired MatBook. He has authored peer-reviewed publications in high-throughput materials characterization and brings both scientific credibility and entrepreneurial drive to the company.
Marcus Vieth
Head of Research EngineeringMarcus leads the platform engineering team with a focus on data pipeline architecture and instrument integration. He spent several years building scientific data infrastructure at a national laboratory before joining MatBook as a founding engineer. His work bridges the gap between laboratory instrumentation and software, making it possible for MatBook to ingest and structure data from dozens of characterization techniques.
Dr. Priya Rengarajan
VP of Scientific PartnershipsPriya manages MatBook's relationships with academic institutions, national laboratories, and industrial research partners. She brings experience in technology commercialization and a background in polymer science and materials characterization. Priya works closely with partner labs to ensure MatBook's platform evolves in step with how materials research is actually conducted in the field.
